Below I highlighted some of my rare sharks and explained why I consider them rare. I don't have the rarest in the collection, but I have some you can expect to find yourself as the final 50% of the collection is revealed.
This is my rarest based on the current sharks released... Cryptoshark #1415. She is one of four with Girly Round Frames. As I mentioned on the Cryptoshark Rarity page, only one shark has the Glasses property correct for the frames. Be sure when looking for rare sharks you search all the sharks, not just the properties. It is the picture that ultimately defines the shark. I also picked up #2972 at a later date.
Necklace - Shark# 381
The Necklace is the rarest trait in the collection outside of Sinbad and the Girly Round Frames. Only 12 currently exist. I have only seen one go up for sale and I snagged it when it did.
Teachers with Glasses
Any shark sporting a rare item with Reading Glasses is going to be very rare. Consider the Ape Ears in the 3rd picture. By themselves they are a trait less than .5% of sharks have. Add Reading Glasses, which are a 1% item, and you can see how it would make your shark special.
Mistakes?
I also mentioned these in the rarity page. These two might be accidents, or not. There are less than a handful of sharks with the 'Maldives' background without flowery shirts. Not sure if it is a trait that will pay off, but since the sharks are still inexpensive I want them.
Color Coordinated - Shark# 95
Okay, I am not sure this is technically a rare trait, but I think it is my favorite. When all the colors match the shark just looks awesome. I looked at every shark in the collection and didn't find another with matching colors I liked as much as this one. Also, it is one of the first 100 minted, so I had to pay 10x the normal price for it... but maybe that will add rarity also someday?
